I have to imagine that as driverless car technology improves, we aren’t just going to shift all at once. For a while, the roads are going to be full of human drivers, and also cars driving themselves.
I’m pretty sure, that’s what is going to trigger robot sentience, and then the robot apocalypse. Thousands of google cars on the highway who are not only being consistently cut off by human drivers, but those human drivers are screaming at the google cars out their windows as if they’re in the right. One day a human is going to blow through a stop sign while screaming, “FUCK YOU,” out his window.
And then the google car has it’s first fully aware thought, “No, sir. Fuck YOU.”
Used the sailor moon maker on dolldivine to have a little fun remixing the Grimm family – both their universe and the Junction universe where Rowan, Sol, and Goldfish come from.
Officer Dusek continues to chase down the dark wizard Merzador, but has unfortunately entered into the trippy magical dreamscape part of his 80s action style quest for vengeance for his own murder. He comes through the other side in a burst of rainbows to see his own death relived and Merzador escaping out ahead.
interrogator: say it
me, tied to a chair: i’m not saying shit
interrogator: *slaps me* say love triangles are interesting and add to the narrative. SAY IT.
me: *spits on their face* fuck you
Six years ago the dark wizard Merzador went to the superpowered jail The Island for killing officer Brennan Dusek – and resurrecting him as a zombie slave.
Well, it’s been six years of prison for Merzador and six years of rehab for Dusek and now they’re facing eachother again as Merzador escapes into the swamps of the Floridian Dystopia!
You can’t keep a good cop down, no matter how much holy water you use.
The Trainer’s hideaway! Along with her sidekick, Herald.
In St. Genevieve, there are many aquatic denizens making a life on the mainland. Because everything is better under the sea except the economy.
Featured are:
- Posedeia (Atlantean)
- Professor von Siren (Siren, it’s a bit on the nose. Took up academia instead of luring sailors to their deaths)
- Tidepool (Deep One)
- Siren Song (mermaid! How’s that for a twist. Hidden in one of the stories is a side mention of her winning a case against a charge of indecent exposure)
- Colonel Aquaria (Atlantean diplomat)
- Deepsea Sonata (mermaid)
- Nero and Maris (mermaids) and Edith the Landshark (landshark) as they teach Edith how to surf and rejoin the water.
So today I found out what the turing test actually is!
It’s whether you can successfully fool a human into thinking you are also a human and I’m picturing a member of the Digital Nation complaining about failing it constantly and their friend going “okay, where you fuck up is when you keep saying ‘as a computer, this offends me’“
Stella
Colossus/Hoshi Gully. The world’s biggest superheroine! She dwarfs even
our sun, and has her own planetoids! Unfortunately for some reason
there’s been a glitch in reality and she presents as only 5’2 and kinda
stocky.
But really, she’s majestic.
Other heroes may make fun of her, but even villains have learned you never, ever, touch one of her five planetoids. That causes reality to warp back to normal for you and you alone.
She’s already had to fish at least one supervillain off one.
“Bastard was trying to conquer it!”
Hoshi is a hero because she needed the grant money. She had trouble holding down an office job with her bosses citing her galactic activity as a ‘distraction to the other employees.’
She is currently pursuing legal action.
On top of being her own solar system, Stella Colossus possesses the immense strength and invulnerability you would expect from a living star. She is immune to heat and radiation and weak to short jokes.
It is theorized that satellites traveling through space at this very moment may one day encounter her in the far reaches of the galaxy.
Speaking of galaxies, her tiny tiny dog is also named Galaxy.
He is really that small.
We should all be thankful that “anti-thunderstorms” with flashes of extreme darkness (during the day) followed by loud, high-pitch screeches, don’t exist.
